Thank you ICS…
“My son and I would have been on the streets if it wasn’t for the fine people at ICS. I vowed then that when I got a windfall, I would pay you back with interest. It has taken awhile, but please use the enclosed to help another family.”

“Dear folks,
Between the years of 1990 and 2000, I was a single mom living in Issaquah raising two little boys. Your organization helped me out more times than I can count – automotive repairs, electric bills, and rent. Even though I was always employed, there were many months when it was not possible to make ends meet. I always dreaded making the call to ask for help, but your volunteers were always nice and non-judgmental. You allowed me to keep my dignity and self-respect by lending me a listening ear and whispering words of comfort.
You have no idea what your support meant to me as a struggling Mom, and to my little boys. I am married now and my sons are young adults living on their own. We are all living very different lives, but our hearts remain in Issaquah thanks to your generosity. I can never truly repay you for what you did for my boys and me, but I try to pay it forward. I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas.
You remain in my prayers,”
