Other Ways To Give
Your generosity and compassion for others can prevent homelesness in our community. Please expand the options below to learn about the many ways your can help.
Recurring Donations
Recurring donations, often referred to as ongoing contributions, are a convenient and consistent way for you to contribute to the Issaquah Community Services’ mission. They can be easily set up through our user-friendly online platform, allowing you to select the donation amount and frequency – monthly, quarterly, or annually– that best meets your budget and preferences. You will also have the flexibility to adjust or cancel your recurring donation at any time, providing you with full control over your giving.
When you choose to set up a recurring donation on our website, you are demonstrating your long-term commitment to our cause. These regular contributions accumulate over time, making a significant impact on our ability to carry out vital services.
IRA Direct Gift
Your retirement plan benefits can be a viable option to fund charitable gifts. Donors aged 70 ½ and older can make qualified charitable distributions (QCD) of up to $100,000 annually from their IRA accounts directly to qualified charities without having to recognize the donated amount as income. Issaquah Community Services is a qualified 501(c)(3) public charity. Contact your IRA administrator or financial planner to set up your IRA direct gift.

Employer Match
Many employers match dollar for dollar the charitable gifts their employees make – some will double or even triple match an employee donation. This is a terrific way to maximize your contribution to Issaquah Community Services. Your $100 contribution can easily turn into a $200 or more donation with a match from your company! Even if you’re retired, you may still be eligible to participate in your former employer’s program.
Check with your human resources department to find out if your employer has an employer match program for charitable donations. Some of the companies in King County that offer employer match programs are Starbucks, Boeing, Microsoft, Liberty Mutual, Wells Fargo and Alaska Airlines. Program policies vary widely from company to company. Contact your HR department for policies and instructions on how to request an employer match for your charitable contributions.
Business Sponsorships
Safe, permanent housing for all residents is a cornerstone of a healthy community. Local businesses can play a key role in helping low-income families break the cycle of poverty and reroute their lives onto a stable course. Will you please consider partnering with Issaquah Community Services (ICS) in the critical mission of keeping people in their homes when they experience unexpected financial emergencies?
ICS relies entirely on contributions and grants generously provided by our community to sustain and advance our mission. Business sponsors can support our efforts in several ways – by engaging in promotions with their clientele, by offering monetary and in-kind contributions, and by supporting fundraising events.
We would love to talk with you about how your business can get involved and strengthen our community. For more information, please contact Carol Schneider by email and carolschneider62@gmail.com or leave a message for Carol at 425-837-3125.
